    Queenstown Stadium

    The weather is so hot today.. suppose to have 5 sets of 1.2km .. but due to the hot weather, dear decide to cut to 4 sets and have a water parade after 3rd set. Legs jellied after the 400m rd.. push all the way out.. CM did very well today.. last set to come in under 5 mins.. wow!

    MF 10km

    Did a hard workout today.. 12mins to reach Harbourfront bustop.. carrying my legs up and push hard at the steep slope of MF.. thanks to Jimmy advise to Ken.. good reminder for me, lift up ur thighs. MF slope was nv easy for me till now.. was panting very hard n heavily before i can start catching my breath after the hilltop.. clocked 30 mins.. midway down the MF slope, we got to run through a big flock of "flies".. can't open my mouth to breath.. else it wld fly directly into my throat. Only manage to get a clear zone after the 2nd zig zag turning.. checked my watch again at the indian prata shop.. 37mins.. good chance to run under sub 1hr today.. 50 mins after MF entrance busstop.. manage to finish in 58mins flat at MF entrance for my 10km.

    realised e diff in the timing compared to the previous run is due the the time i took to run down the slope.. tt extra 2-3 min was actually used conservatively to protect my knees..

    Labrador Hill Loops

    Oni manage to do 3 loops.. 1st 2 loops till quite ok.. 3rd loop walked up halfway of the slope.. is my mental really tt weak? just can't lift my legs up like i did for the 1st 2 loops.. n my breathing was terrible... 1st loop in 8:29:10, 2nd loop 9:40:67, 3rd loop 11:28:72.. terrible timing..

    ran back to club with Alan and angela.. push myself up the henderson slope tho..

    signed up for the AHM today too.. haven joined in this run for the previous 2 yrs.. time to do it again with a brand new start ;)

    MF 10km

    Last thursday training was officially cancelled by Chairman at 5pm due to the heavy showers and thunder.. haha we went for a dinner session at Crawford link, North Bridge road.. had the Tai Hwa Ba Chou Mee n Happy Chef western food..

    Hence thurs training was carried out today.. chairman led the rest of the group to labrador due to the wet gnd.. while we decide to go with MF 10km.. Peter n I started off 1st while Trevor waited for Dear (who forgot to bring his running gear for the 1st time)..

    Pushed myself up the steep MF slope.. Took 31mins to reach the hilltop.. reach the prata shop in 40mins.. i followed Peter's pace after coming down from morse road.. felt i put in alot of effort for today's run.. but only manage to finish in 1hr01min..

    Kent Ridge Loop

    Dear brought us thru HortPark to Kent Ridge for the interval OTOT training.. Did 3 sets of 1km.. the slope up is gradual n long but much shorter compared to MF slope.. went back by the same way thru HortPark via Depot road to club.
