Track Intervals @ Queenstown
Bug and I were late today.. due to the bus journey to club.. reached club at 6.45pm.. everyone was fully geared, ready to start.. I quickly changed into my sports gear n did some warm up b4 proceeding to Queenstown.. Bug sped ahead to catch up with the rest.. midway along depot road, I am surprised to see Colleen.. she was still thinking to do the tracks or normal run as we ran towards Alexandra junction.. Soon we saw Waifung n Christine just crossed e traffic junction @ end of depot rd.. we caught up w them and ran together towards the stadium :D
I felt good from the start n was speeding up my cadence along the way.. took abt 25mins29secs.. Colleen asked me if this was the pace I did @ Pattaya.. doesn't seem like a sub-2 pace haha.. frankly speaking, i am a very lousy pace sensor.. dunno wat pace i am doing oni just follow CM as I ran @ Pattaya.. really lucky to manage to make in sub 2 hahahaha... as I could feel i trying to 'tong' all the way... :P
Ong briefed us on today's program.. 2 sets of 1 mile (1600m) followed by 4 sets of 800m..
For the 1st time I felt good n easy doing the 1 mile.. hmm think mindset really push me thru alot.. i tried to think positively as I ran n also tot of how to run n wat I shld do during the laps.. hehe sounds like I making more effort in my running! haha think my dear will be happy to hear this hahahha.. but i still eat snake at the last few sets.. did 2 sets of 400m n skipped the last 800m which had the last 6 men racing.. I was quite tired after the run.. lucky Waifung supported me with some 100plus! :D thks alot! very tempted to walk back to club.. but e 100plus at the clubhse made my legs go faster n I ran back w dear back to club in 26mins :D
