    Queenstown Stadium

    Today's training menu is 8 x 800m @ Queenstown stadium.. Dear n I skipped the 4km warmup route n drove str to the stadium.. :p Quite a big turnout today.. almost the whole stadium was occupied by us.. With much delay, dear quickly briefed the training session and Cm volunteered to take our timing :D Target: maintain a consistent 4min/800m pace throughout the 8 sets...

    Ladies are given the priority to start off 1min earlier. Had a great run today.. felt light, so relieved to clear off the all month long hectic workload today.. haven done this Yasso 800m for a loooong time.. no pain on ITB, but felt lactic acid built up after the 3rd sets.. lucky sufficient time rest are given before each sets..

    1st Set: 4:00
    Lap 1: 2:02
    Lap 2: 1:58

    2nd Set: 3:46
    Lap 1: 1:52
    Lap 2: 1:54

    3rd Set: 3:47
    Lap 1: 1:52
    Lap 2: 1:55

    4th Set: 3:43
    Lap 1: 1:48
    Lap 2: 1:55

    5th Set: 3:42
    Lap 1: 1:48
    Lap 2: 1:54

    6th Set: 3:44
    Lap 1: 1:48
    Lap 2: 1:56

    7th Set: 3:42
    Lap 1: 1:48
    Lap 2: 1:54

      Nice consistent splits for the 800s overall. But it seems that you started too fast in the 1st lap and then 'died' in the 2nd lap for set 2-7. I think you can get under 3:40 easily for all the 800s if you aim for 1:50/1:50 split.
