    Last taper run b4 D-Day

The turnout was quite low today. Hmm guess many are resting to prepare for D-Day :D Dear planned a short easy run for all- 8km from Depot Rd-Alexandra Rd- TB Rd-Harbourfront-TB Rise-Club.

Everyone was running quite fast today.. could feel some effort put in to run today.. calfs were aching.. cannot catch up with the rest.. was the sweeper today.. Feel like crawling at TB rise part.. oh dear.. quite worried abt sun run.. 8km also cannot cope well.. can't imagine for 42km.. :O Took me 51mins to complete the run.. felt quite drained after the run..

    Fort Canning

Two of my good running mates reminded me to check out my super outdated blog.. hai.. had been fire-fighting with time since sept.. finally can get some breather this wk to clear off some webs before the D-day..

During the start of our run, I had a small conversation with Michael.
Michael: "Jaime, what pace do you decide to do for today's run? Fast or Slow?"
Jaime: "Definitely slow and easy. Seem to lose touch of my pace." if i were to burst out fast at the start like last sun's run, i will be punctuated before reaching Fort Canning.

I followed behind Michael all the way till Fort Canning park. We were stopped at almost every traffic junctions. Dear waited for the whole group to assemble at UE junction and lead us to a new route up to Fort Canning.. instead of going up the steep rocky slope, we ran along the road and reached the entrance of Legends resturant.. haha our trainer Ricci joked tt we can have a pre Carbo-loading meal :D

We took a short water break at the peak of Fort Canning. The return journey was more of endurance to maintain my pace back to club.

    Distance: ~12km, Time taken: 1:35
